MANCHESTER -- Taconic Music is presenting works for guitar, string and voice in a Thanksgiving concert at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Manchester Community Library.

The concert features Taconic Music's artistic directors, violinist Joana Genova and violist Ariel Rudiakov, joined by violinist Deborah Buck, cellist Sophie Shao, mezzo-soprano Jessica Bowers and guitarist Oren Fader. There is a suggested donation of $15 at the door.

The New York City-based Bowers-Fader Duo will perform works by Mozart (based on a charming love story by Goethe), Brahms (two folk song tales describing the innocence of love), a modern twist on the familiar hymn O Come, O Come Emmanuel by Tim Mukherjee, and a song cycle by Paul Salerni.

The program will end with Luigi Boccherini's toe-tapping Fandango from his most famous quintet for guitar and strings.
