MEMS to host "Parent Film Forum" on Dec. 11

Posted
MANCHESTER — Flood Brook Union School, Manchester Elementary and Middle School, The Dorset School, and The Collaborative will host a "Parent Film Forum" on Dec. 11, featuring viewing of the documentary "The Mask You Live In," directed by Jennifer Newsom. Following the great turnout and lively discussion from last year's forum viewing of Screenagers, this film will also be sure to generate lots of thoughtful discussion among parents and caregivers. As with our spring forum, The Collaborative and FBS are partnering to provide dinner and child care for all participants, and will help to facilitate discussions and reactions to the film after the viewing.

Looking ahead, we will also be hosting a spring film forum based on the film MissRepresentation, also directed by Jennifer Newsom and produced by The Representation Project. Stay tuned for details. This year's parent forums are provided through a partnership between Flood Brook School, Manchester Elementary Middle School, The Dorset School and The Collaborative.

We are excited to offer this opportunity to all parents in the BRSU community and beyond. Anyone interested in joining us for this event, held on Tuesday December 11th from 6:00-8:00 at Flood Brook School, please RSVP (for dinner/seating planning) to Tasha Greene at 802-824-6811, tgreene@brsu.org.
