Letter: Thankful for 20 years in business

To the Editor:

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our 20th Anniversary Celebration Week a big success. They say it takes a village and I am so grateful for our little village and surrounding towns. It was great to see so many loyal customers whose participation in the wing sauce challenge, Thatswhatshesaid tasting, original menu night, beer and cider tap takeovers and the big night Italian feast with opera.

I'd like to thank Long Trail Ale, Farrell Distributing, Baker Distributing, Zero Gravity, Citizen Cider, Kelly Ravin, Dan Rogers, Nick and Brandon of Agents of Creative and Anya Matanovic and Linda Hueckel, who provided the most amazing show on Saturday night. Thank you to Bob Ellis, for filming all week and documenting the fun we all had! And congratulations to Ahren Erickson and Michael Brengolini. Look for their outstanding wings on our menu soon!

Most importantly, I'd like to thank the hundreds of employees who have worked at The Wife over the last 20 years and have been making my customers feel good inside and out. I certainly have not done this alone and give so much credit to the boys, girls, men, and women who have shown up with smiles on their faces to work hard and make sure our customers can't wait to come back.

From the bottom of my heart, I am grateful. Thanks for a wild twenty-year ride. Cheers to a few more!
