How to Research the History of Your House

Posted
On Aug. 17 at the next Dorset Historical Society Third-Thursday Lunchtime-Lecture, two ladies—Judy Harwood and Michele Pagan—will instruct you in how to uncover the full backstory of the house you live in. Ms. Harwood has extensively explored Dorset history; Ms. Pagan has worked at a number of museums around the country. These gals know all about the documentation and will guide you step by step through the whole process.

The Dorset Historical Society's monthly Third-Thursday Lunchtime-Lectures begin at noon and last about an hour. Attendees are invited to bring a sandwich; beverages and desserts are provided. The events are free and take place at DHS's Bley House Museum, located on Route 30 at Kent Hill Rd., Dorset, VT. For more information, visit: www.dorsetvthistory.org or call 802-867-0331.
