Dorset Players to perform 'Bus Stop'

DORSET — The Dorset Players and the Spiral Press Caf present the William Inge classic play "Bus Stop" in six performances over two weekends next month at the Dorset Playhouse.

Friday and Saturday night performances will be held at 7:30 p..m. on March 3,4,10 and 11, and Sunday matinee shows at 2 p.m. on March 5 and March 12.

The drama, set in the 1950s, is about a brash cowboy (Bobby Leonard) and a slightly more worldly showgirl (Dana Haley) and how they find love and redemption while stuck at a bus stop during a snowstorm.

The show also features the talents of actors Cheryl Gushee, Todd Hjelt, Greta Schaub, Dan Silver, Jim Young and Patrick Zilkha.

"Bus Stop" is directed by Paul Michael Brinker and produced by Sherry Kratzer, with stage management by Tracy Hughes.
