Berkshire resident joins employers group

LENOX — Lenox resident John Henderson has joined the Employers Association of the NorthEast in Agawam as director of learning and development. He will lead a team to design, customize, and schedule the diverse array of more than 500 substantive training programs presented by EANE for members and non-members.Henderson has over 25 years of experience working for associations and nonprofits, much of it from a global perspective. He most recently served as vice president of industry relations and strategy for Fixation Marketing in Bethesda, Md. He also served seven years as VP for education, training and professional development for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions in Alexandria, Va., the world's largest amusement industry trade association.He holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Kent State University, and a master of science in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. Henderson is a member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events and a past member of the American Society of Association Executives.
