BBA's Vickers, Smith land all-state honors
Vickers was a first-team attack selection in Division I, scored 65 goals and had 39 assists for a team-high 104 points this season.
In his career, Vickers finished with 206 goals scored and had 326 total points.
The Colby College bound star was also a VCLA Green and Gold outstanding player recipient.
Smith earned first-team team honors for his terrific play on defense this season for the Bulldogs.
Earning second team all-state honors as midfielder for BBA was senior Sean Apps.
Apps scored 35 goals and dished out 13 assists this spring for BBA.
The Bulldogs made it the semifinals of the Division I tournament this spring and finished with a record of 12-5.
The Division I second-team goalie honoree was Mount Anthony's Jackson Thibodeau.
Thibodeau is the all-time saves leader in the state of Vermont with 509 and help the Patriots go 7-10 this spring.
As reported last week, Jackson was named a US Lacrosse Academic All-American. He like Vickers was also a VCLA Green and Gold outstanding player honoree.
BBA boys lacrosse camp
MANCHESTER — Burr and Burton boys lacrosse head coach Mark Lange will lead a camp from July 3-7 at Judy McCormick Taylor Field.
The camp will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for boys entering grades 2 through 9. It will focus on campers having fun and improving upon the skills they worked on throughout the summer.
The camp is highlighted by skill competitions and lacrosse progression drills that work on developing players' passing, catching, positioning, footwork, shooting, stick checks, communication, off-ball movement, as well as the all important, teamwork. We will use obstacle courses, strategy games such as "capture-the-flag lacrosse", Lacrosse Golf, along with a progression based approach to playing lacrosse starting with 1v0 and quickly progressing to 6v6 throughout the week.

MALA boys lacrosse camp
BENNINGTON — The Southern Vermont Boys Youth Lacrosse Camp will take place from July 10-14 at Middle Willow Park in Bennington.
The camp will run each day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to boys entering grades 3 through 9.
Camp activities will include individual and team skills, drills and games and individual evaluations.
The camp will be led by former Mount Anthony boys varsity coach and current Arizona Wildcats assistant Paul Reif, a former US Lacrosse boys coach of the year. He will be assisted by former Cambridge star and current assistant Skyler Saunders as well.
